quando ho sentito due amici chiacchierare allegramente dietro di me. Non volevo davvero origliare, ma l\u2019attenzione delle mie orecchie \u00e8 stata subito catturata quando ho sentito la parola &#8220;yoga&#8221;. \u201cSe ti senti cos\u00ec, dovresti davvero provare lo yoga! Ti farebbe davvero bene! &#8220;, consigli\u00f2 uno di loro all&#8217;altro. L&#8217;altro ha poi aggiunto qualcosa sulla mancanza di tempo e sulla rigidit\u00e0&#8230; insomma, le solite scuse <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\ud83d\ude0a<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> e poi ha chiesto: &#8220;Ma perch\u00e9, lo yoga fa davvero bene?&#8221;.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mi sono quasi voltata, ma beh&#8230; non volevo intromettermi cos\u00ec, in una conversazione privata!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Naturalmente, ti dir\u00f2 che lo yoga fa bene: sono un\u2019insegnante di yoga, lo pratico ogni giorno, vivendolo e credendo in esso. Lo yoga combatte lo stress e la depressione:<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fee1091 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fee1091\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00c8 scientificamente provato da numerosi studi che lo yoga e la meditazione riducono il cortisolo, l&#8217;ormone dello stress: lo yoga non \u00e8 certamente l&#8217;unica forma di attivit\u00e0 che ne abbassa i livelli &#8211; gli sport in generale hanno quel potere &#8211; ma il vantaggio dello yoga, rispetto ad altre discipline, \u00e8 che funziona <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">anche<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a livello mentale. Infatti, mentre le asana yoga mantengono il corpo flessibile e in forma, la meditazione e il Pranayama (le tecniche di respirazione) calmano la mente e ossigenano il cervello. Di conseguenza, praticando siamo pi\u00f9 rilassati, calmi e allegri\u2026 e se hai mai provato il <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Savasana<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> alla fine di una sessione yoga, sai gi\u00e0 di cosa sto parlando. Ecco un paio di studi per supportarlo: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/16740317\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC4784068\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2<\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Non dovremmo poi sottovalutare l&#8217;effetto benefico dello yoga sui livelli di cortisolo: questo ormone non solo ci rende stressati, ma pu\u00f2 anche portare alla depressione, poich\u00e9 influenza fortemente i livelli di serotonina nel nostro corpo, e un basso livello di serotonina pu\u00f2 essere direttamente collegato alla depressione. Ci sono studi che dimostrano come la pratica dello yoga allievi poi i sintomi di questa patologia: <a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/15055096\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">uno<\/a>, in particolare, \u00e8 stato condotto su un gruppo di giovani adulti, che hanno partecipato a lezioni di Iyengar Yoga, un\u2019ora a settimana per 5 settimane. I risultati hanno mostrato che \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I soggetti che hanno partecipato al corso di yoga hanno registrato una significativa diminuzione dei sintomi auto-riportati di depressione e ansia. Questi effetti benefici sono emersi a met\u00e0 del corso di yoga e sono stati mantenuti fino alla fine. Sono stati poi osservati cambiamenti anche nell&#8217;umore acuto: i soggetti riportavano di avere ridotto i livelli di umore negativo e di stanchezza dopo le lezioni di yoga<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-88d122d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"88d122d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Le asana che aiutano a combattere lo stress e la depressione sono ad esempio i piegamenti in avanti, poich\u00e9 sono profondamente rilassanti e ci invitano a perdere il controllo, arrendersi e fidarsi di noi stessi. In molte asana il bacino dovrebbe ruotare verso l&#8217;interno, allungando il triangolo lombare e, se prendessimo l&#8217;abitudine di farlo anche nella nostra vita quotidiana, potremmo liberarci dal mal di schiena e dal fastidio che questo comporta.
